We are seeking a Director, Internal Communications who will develop and execute internal communications and employee engagement activities in support of strategic business priorities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of developing and nurturing a strategic approach to internal communications by creating and implementing plans that give employees line of sight to how their role contributes to their function's, and the company's success. They will have experience setting strategy and be energized by trying new things and building an organization. He or she will also be agile, adaptable, highly collaborative, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

This person will report to the Vice President, Internal Communications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing strategic employee communications and engagement plans designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and key projects.
  • Providing communications support to key senior executives, including communications around key initiatives, high level organization announcements, engagement activities, and other communications needs.
  • Provide expertise and support to develop the employee brand, intranet, and company vision, mission and values.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure alignment across the company and the timely and effective dissemination of messaging and materials to employees.
  • Keeping communications fresh, creative, and engaging
  • Ensuring "continuous improvement" by measuring communications impact and effectiveness.

Minimum requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience, including leading employee communications for a global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategies aligned with business goals and company culture
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong expertise and leadership skills, and aptitude to take informed, creative risks
  • Ability and agility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Confidence and poise to work closely with senior executives
  • Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence in multiple ways and build credibility quickly with key stakeholders and peers
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
